Job description:Ring in the NEW YEAR with a NEW, PART-TIME Job! CTM is seeking a part-time, experienced accountant or bookkeeper with prior public accounting firm experience.
Now's your chance to achieve a true work/life balance by working a few, consecutive weeks each month in this unique, part-time accounting position.
The DAYS - Work approximately 10-12 consecutive business days per month. Start around the 4th of the month and finish before the 25th.
The HOURS - Work in a fun, friendly office environment from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. (We offer some flexibility).
The PAY - $20-$22 per hour, depending on your level of experience.
You will prepare monthly financial statements, including recording sales, deposits, payroll and disbursements, as well as make accruals and reconcile bank statements for valued clients. You will also be responsible for reviewing financial statements, which includes a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, as well as selected financial ratios. A basic understanding of the asset depreciation rules is a plus.
Our staff uses Creative Solutions and Accounting CS software. Knowledge of this software would be helpful in being considered for this position. You might also be required to use Quickbooks, BNA Fixed Asset Depreciation and Excel. Because we work in "paperless" environment, you will be working extensively on your dual monitor computer.

Job description:CTM is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual with at least two years of experience working at a public accounting firm. The ideal candidate should have reached a "Senior Staff Accountant" or "Supervisor" level position.
Experience in the following areas is required:
1. Financial statement compilations and reviews;
2. Preparation of individual, partnership, corporation and trust tax returns; and
3. Tax planning and research.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting
• CPA designation or a CPA candidate
In addition to the above requirements, it would be beneficial if:
• You are comfortable in a paperless environment;
• You have experience working with ProFx tax software, Creative Solutions and Quickbook accounting software, as well as Microsoft Excel;
• You are an effective communicator with above average verbal and written skills; and
• You are able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
